Thurs. 16 May: Depart USA: 

 

Friday 17 May: Arrive Cape Town, transfer to lodge. Spend the weekend exploring Cape Town, from Table Mountain to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the Victoria & Albert Waterfront, to markets and local fares. A day trip to Cape Point and Boulders beach can be arranged.

 

Monday 20 May: Fly to Victoria Falls and check into the boutique guest lodge.  We will spend 4 wonderful days experiencing the falls, the small town, wildlife conservation efforts and such.  A list of highly recommended excursions is on the itinerary.

 

Friday 24 May: Fly to Maun and travel to the hidden tented retreat situated in a private concession on the doorstep of the game-rich Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana.  Enjoy world class safari experiences for 5 full days.

 

Wednesday 29 May: Fly to Cape Town for the evening connection back home.

 

Thursday 30 May: Arrive home.

Friday 23 August: Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania. Spend one night.

 

Saturday 24 August: Fly to Serengeti. Spend 5 fabulous nights in the northern Serengeti at a fabulous luxury tented lodge situated along the Mara River during peak Great Migration time.

 

Thursday 29 August: Fly into Cape Town, settle in for 3 nights, and spend your days exploring Cape Town, from Table Mountain to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the Victoria & Albert Waterfront, to markets and local fairs. A day trip to Cape Point and Boulders beach can be arranged.

 

Monday 2 September: 2 OPTIONS:

OPTION 1: Fly to Victoria Falls for 4 nights. We will spend 4 wonderful days experiencing the falls, the small town, wildlife conservation efforts and such.  A list of highly recommended excursions is on the itinerary.

OPTION 2: Head north to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for 4 nights of fabulous lodging, hiking, world class food, and renowned wine tasting.

 

Friday 6 September: Fly to Nelspruit and explore the beauty of The Panoramic Route.

 

Sunday 8 September: Drive to Sabi Sands Private Safari Reserve for 5 nights of spectacular safari watching. The Sabi Sands private game reserve borders Kruger National Park, where there are no fences. We will spend 5 glorious nights at this amazing lodge and enjoy 2 game drives per day watching the animals.  It is common to see the big 5 within the first 2 days.

 

Friday 13 September: Fly to Cape and depart for USA.
