I was born in Zimbabwe and am a 9th-generation African. I met my American husband in Somalia and, although I live in Ohio, I still have a raw passion for my true home.
I specialize in individual, family and small group travel to southern Africa. It is my love for Africa and my many years of expertise that makes me the right person to book your safari with.
My desire is for you to discover southern Africa as a traveler, not a tourist. To experience her heart, her people, my home. To feel the hometown vibe in complete comfort and safely. To encounter the wildlife and bushveld with amazing safari guides, and to sleep in the comfort of marvelous lodges.

Our 20-day trip was an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. The entire trip, from the moment we stepped on the plane in Dallas to the time we returned home to the USA, was so organized and seamless! Everything was so well thought out and planned for...even contingencies for contingencies!

The trip of a lifetime for sure! Amanda incorporated all the things our group was interested in right into the itinerary. We had so many great excursion options to choose from and it was really tailored to us. Each place we stayed was unique and special in its own way and the food throughout the trip was terrific, even for a picky eater!
